Заканчивается 2011 год и самое время подвести итоги года.
Я уже не первый раз составляю подобный список песен, началось все с 2006 года.
Сразу скажу у меня было 3 реальных претендента на лучшую песню 2011. И мне очень хотелось какую-то из них сделать лучшей для меня песней в этом году.
Самый реальный претендент был трек Jay Sean - Fire. но все-таки эта песня еще с альбома "All or Nothing" 2009 года. Так что это не совсем справедливо ставить устаревшую песню лучшей в 2011, даже если она очень-очень сильно нравится. Кстати трек Джей Шона - Ride It уже стал для меня когда-то лучшей песней 2008 года.
По той же причине отпали треки Shy'm - Tu Comprendras и La première fois. Треки соответственно 2006 и 2008 года, просто я услышал их только в этом году. Кроме этого французская певица Shy'm (Шайм) несомненно для меня открытие этого года.

TOP 50 составляю только из треков на английском языке, хотя бывают исключения. Список только из личных предпочтений…

In a fusion of electronica, hip hop, and rock, myspace.com will be airing a live (and on-demand) stream of the Bacardi B-Live Concert at Bayfront Park in Miami. The show will feature well known acts such as Groove Armada, diverse acts such as Dave Navarro with DJ Skribble and up and coming hip artists Schwayze, Cisco Radler, and J Melo, plus some pretty unique performances (Deepdish playing with cirque-de-solei-esque troop Wise Fool New Mexico), and even a performance by a myspace community elected DJ. Inspired by a question Z-soldier asked me, I have decided to list out the songs and albums that happened to me this year. These weren't necessarily released this year - they just entered my life properly this year.

To help me get started, I am just going to list the track/albums. Then later I'll add specific comments to the entries. Mostly this is going to be an unsorted list.

Track of the year:
Where is home? (Burial Mix) - Bloc Party

- I think I saw this track on Z-soldier's page. It is a good demonstration of Burial's brilliance. The Bloc Party original is frankly not at all exciting while this remix is sheer melancholic brilliance. Burial at his best! I also really liked the whole `Untrue' album, with the following being standout tracks:
Archangel, Etched Headplate

1&2 both have a real summer vibe about them. Warm fun techno at its best. I checked them out after reading Philip Sherburne's this month in techno list.

Vie 14 Sep – Festival Weekend Dance

Empecemos con lo obvio: casi todos presagiábamos que la primera edición del Weekend Dance iba a ser floja, si no un desastre. Cambios de recinto, improvisación forzada - y esforzada - en la confección del cartel y los horarios, y finalmente un solo escenario en el auditorio de Juan Carlos I hacían presagiar apiñamientos, mal humor, mal sonido, y caras largas de los artistas.

Y bueno, no ha sido tan malo. La crítica principal a lo que es el espectáculo es que es una animalada montar 15 horas seguidas de sesiones y conciertos, por mucho que se cuente con estímulos químicos de todo tipo. Es una maldita animalada, y no sabéis la puta rabia que me dio perderme a Carl Craig, alguien que tengo como una manifestación de Dios en la tierra como poco. Como recinto, no funciono mal la idea de las gradas - sí vi a unos cuantos cafres y cafras cargándose los asientos y tirándolos por ahí - y el auditorio recogía maravillosamente el sonido…
