@KraeheK: I think tagging a manuscript as an artist is clearly against the rules of Last.fm. Because medieval (and other early music) contains many compositions by "Mr. Anonymous", and medieval pieces also have many doubtful or hypothetical composer attributions (like Alfonso X El Sabio I almost always tag the performing ensemble (like Ensemble Organum instead of the composer. Especially if the artist is some "Mittelalter Rock" band interpreting the medieval Carmina Burana codex, the band should be tagged as performer - which is the normal practice in any non-classical music.

"There's no way a manuscript could be considered an artist - I'm glad there's no "artist" tagged as "Chantilly Codex" in Last.fm. The Argentinian band should definitely be mentioned first in the description, as it seems to be the only correct artist here. The correct artist tag for movements from the 20th century scenic cantata is of course Carl Orff. As for interpretations of the actual medieval manuscript, tagging the performing ensemble would be best, as we do not know the composers. There's no way a manuscript could be considered an artist - I'm glad there's no "artist" tagged as "Chantilly Codex" in Last.fm.

"The 13th century songs are more important then that Argentinian Band. " Jajaja, that's just your opinion. Aguante Carmina !

I think they should (somehow) do another picture, one of the documents perhaps. The 13th century songs are more important then that Argentinian Band.
