Anciennement connu sous le nom de Manitoba, Dan Snaith, alias Caribou, a dû changer de pseudonyme pour de sombres raisons juridiques. Sous ce nouveau sobriquet qui dit bien sa nationalité canadienne, il a enchaîné des productions électroniques avec, de nos jours, une pop plus psychédélique et rappelant Brian Wilson mais toujours pleine de digressions, de sons minuscules et de complexités rythmiques sans démence sonore toutefois.
