Caravan est un groupe de musique britannique de type « rock progressif » de l’école de Canterbury.
bien que ne s’appelant pas encore ainsi, Caravan existe depuis 1964,sous le nom des Wild Flowers,groupe qui fut à l’origine de Soft Machine.David Sainclair quitte le groupe en 1971 pour rejoindre le Matching Mole de Robert Wyatt et est remplacé en 1972 par Steve Miller (ne pas confondre avec le guitariste US du même nom) pour le disque Waterloo Lily. Sinclair reviendra dans le groupe en 1973, avant de repartir définitivement en 1975, et sera remplacé cette fois par Jan Schelhaas. la dernière recrue est Messecar, venu remplacer Mike Wedgwood en 1977 à l’occasion de l’album Better By Far, produit par Tony Visconti.

The chart is fairly easily explained: most casual fans only have In The Land of Grey & Pink, Nine Feet Underground won't be top because people will never agree on the tag so you've got 4 tracks that could top it, it's a count of how many people play the track, not of how many times the track is played - so is it a surprise those four tracks end up on the chart in the same order they appear on the album?
