Top 40 radio stations did not touch these songs since they were considered to be "too long" and "too controversial" to fit in the format. The music soon became known as "underground".

Emppu is a really balanced guitarist. He adds some new content to the songs with his solos, but he doesn't secede them from the songs like the very fast guitarists tend to do, so the patterns remain and the solos make the songs better. This is rare, rare but great. -- It's odd the Heart Full of Fire album almost completely owns the charts from False Metal. I think they are pretty similar and about as good albums. Songs like Break Out, Valerie, I'm on Fire and Midnite Queen should take some top positions away from certain HFoF songs. :)
