i agree with kaliyali...after my 3rd listen i like much more than at first. no it isn't better than shadows on the sun or the undisputed truth but its definitely not a step in the wrong direction

Quality is indeed relative, but what I don't think you've realized mr.real hip hop is that saying that also discredits your opinion, since the quality of the new album is indeed as you've put it, relative to your tastes. As for US stacking up to Shadows On the Sun and MY opinion, they can't really be compared. They contrast each other a lot. Shadows was a hard fuckin album, where US is more soft and sappy. I'll listen to Room With a View during the day, and switch it up to Crown Jewel at night.

@Real_Hip_Hop rites of passage is awful, even ali says he wishes he never released it and that's why you can't buy a legit copy of it anywhere.
