Simon Green alias Bonobo est un producteur, compositeur et DJ anglais, sur le label Ninja Tune.
À 18 ans, il partit pour Brighton où il fit ses débuts avec l’album Animal Magic en 2000. Avec cet album, non seulement autoproduit mais où il réalisa également la majeure partie de l’instrumental, il devint un des pionniers du new down tempo. Sa musique a vite su séduire les grands labels du genre, il signa un contrat chez Ninja Tune en 2001.

If you're into Bonobo, or tother Warp Records acts, you might enjoy BudNubac. BudNubac have a different sound, but definitely have some of the same 'full immersion in the album' feeling that you get from all the Warp albums. BudNubac is a music project by the Nightmares on Wax keyboardist, so you can see why it might be worth a listen. Yeah, I know this is spam, but BlancoMusic.com's only been running for three months now and there's just no way that one man can forge a proper relationship with enough people to make a living without mailshots.
