Yeah, that's a great one... but if I had to pick, I think my favorite word-pronunciation on Planet Waves would be "blood" on Wedding Song.

A comment one can only make about Dylan: I love the way he says "hair" on this album.

Man, this sure is an unsung masterpiece. I find more to love with every listen! Sublime backing by The Band, excellent vocals & harmonica from Bob, and a spectacular balance of dark & light songs, all among Bob's best. And the lyrics...! don't get me started on the lyrics. You've turned your hair to brown, love to see it hanging down...

Blissful, but sometimes sounds like stray cat music - scrawny, cocky, and yowling up the stairs

Fantastic album. Up there with his best. On A Night Like This is a perfect opener. And while Wedding Song may not be as good a closer as Desolation Row, It's All Over Now Baby Blue or Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands, it's perfect for this album. The songs in between are all good, especially the fantastic Tough Mama and Dirge IMO,

Honestly, this album proves that you can write compelling material when you are happy and content. Granted, the album that follows this is about that happiness unraveling, and is generally considered a classic, but I find myself enjoying Planet Waves far more at the moment than Blood on the Tracks. If these songs are assumed to be about Sara, I certainly hope I meet someone who spurs me to write something even half as beautiful as "Wedding Song" or "Hazel." Plus, Dylan is always best with the Band.
