Blackmore’s Night est un groupe britannique de musique d’inspiration médiévale (ou renaissance), formé par Ritchie Blackmore, l’ancien guitariste de Deep Purple (et qui n’a rien perdu de sa maîtrise de la guitare bien qu’elle soit souvent acoustique dans ses prestations à l’intérieur du groupe) et Candice Night.

Le groupe se produit régulièrement en concert dans des festivals de musique médiévales et renaissance, ou dans des lieux historiques (comme durant la tournée européenne « Castle and dreams »).

I caught them in NYC a couple of weeks ago, and thought that they were wonderful. Those interested in seeing what I thought about it can click my website in my profile for more. Sadly I would not be in Renaissance garb myself but really found their audience spirited and lively for the night. A great time.
