"My one-man band is over" is such a romantic statement

This is so stunning I can't put into words how much these lyrics mean to me. That's such a brilliant description of falling in love - 'My wandering days are over. Does that mean that I'm getting bored? You tell me.'

This song never really appealed to me. I "get" it now, I wish I could feel the way that Stuart felt about Isobel when he wrote this.

"I saw you in Japanese restaurant, you were doing it for business men on the piano, Belle." Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Everything is perfect in this song, how they singled out the horn, his whispering voice, the images. The song gives such a sweet, chilling feeling, really. God, it's just amazing. This is a well-written song and is one of the best on "Tigermilk".

This tune had slipped my attention before, not sure why. Started listening to it today, and I really love it. It goes on repeat...
