Single Review: The Rapture: How Deep Is Your Love?
31 août 2011, 3h03m par astrolabe1976
I once discounted The Raptureas hipster city try hards. Anything billed as "post punk dance", well I was dubious. And
House Of Jealous Lovers was ANNOYING.
But with their release of their second album, Pieces Of The People We Love, I was enjoying them a lot more, especially the excellent songs Gotta Get Myself Into It, and
The Devil
Well The Rapture are back and with a vengeance with their latest single How Deep Is Your Love. No it's not a Bee Gees cover, but, well if no one has coined the term "Blue-Eyed House" we'll, thats what it is. And its GLORIOUS. Uplifting, Chicago House Music filtered through a DFA lens.
If you aren't singing Hallelujah at the end, get your head check. http://www.weallwantsomeone.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/The-Rapture-How-Deep-Is-Your-Love.jpg -

Famous Dead Musicians/Artists and Causes of Death (Pt 1, Age 16-36)
23 jui. 2011, 23h56m par thomas10
This is an article in which I tried to bundle all the great losses of rock'n roll and modern music. That means all the musicians which are worldwide known and died at young age (before 51 years old). I tried to give a little information about the way they died. Most of the information I got from Wikipedia. When someone thinks I forgot an artist or that the information is incorrect... I'm open for new information.
The list is in order of age of dying
For the artists older than 36 I'll recommend you Pt 2;

Ritchie Valens (1941-1959)
Plane crash. After a winning cointoss and despite of his fear to fly, together with Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper, he flew out of the Mason City airport in a small plane that Holly had chartered. The plane flew into a blinding snowstorm and crashed shortly after takeoff. This is known as "The Day The Music Died".

17 juin 2011, 17h37m par OurStage_fm

Though I’ll probably never be a huge fan of the Broadway musical, occasionally, they rock. Such has been the case for Great White Way song-and-dance productions based on the music of The Who, Bee Gees, ABBA, Queen, Billy Joel, Dolly Parton, Green Day and Elton John (twice).
