lol Indeed. That's a lot of angst over a single offhand remark. I'm the one making the comparison to Tool, goofball. A person could also compare the structure of a song by the Beatles to one by Insane Clown Posse and, though it might be technically accurate, the example would still be subject to criticism because Insane Clown Posse is objectively awful. So, basically what I'm saying is that Tool makes bad music and that Tool fans are trolled very easily, almost as much as ICP fans.

Where's the comparison to Tool? I'm pretty sure ghostofpaulman was just saying that it's meant to be listened to in conjunction with The Sweetest Curse in the same way that Parabol is meant to lead into Parabola. I could say it's like how you're supposed to listen to Irepress's Rhintu and Barrageo together, but someone would doubtless make a stupid fucking comment about how the bands are different. Yes, we all know they are.. but it's a way to familiarize people with the concept of songs that are meant to flow together even if they aren't necessarily called "Part 1 and 2" or "Part A and B."

v What he said. You might as well be comparing Between the Buried and Me to Agalloch.

How anyone could think this music bears any relation to Tool is beyond me.

Two examples of poor reading comprehension. One example of good ol' American xerox-opinions.

@redflannelkid yeah it's kinda like Tool's parabole/parabola not really a stand alone track but a buildup to the next one.You have to listen to both consequetively to get the full effect
