This album deserves a thoughtful review, and I'll try to provide one. I'm a new fan of B2ST, I'll admit it right away, but as a first full-length album I can confidently say that it's a stellar example and miles ahead of their previous stuff (which is still enjoyable, don't get me wrong)! But seriously, this is an album where I didn't find myself skipping over any of the songs during my first listen. Usually I have to make a concerted effort, but here I found myself anticipating each song and I wasn't disappointed. Naturally, there are some songs I appreciate more than others -- standouts like "The Fact", "Fiction", "You", and "On Rainy Days", "Lightless" unplugged and the orchestral version of "Fiction" -- but there isn't a weak song on the album. In sum, Fiction and Fact is a very strong, cohesive effort by B2ST and I hope it wins them all the acclaim and attention they deserve. I can't wait to see/hear where they'll go next from this.
