Axel Rudi Pell est un guitariste allemand né le 27 juin 1960 . Il joue et compose des titres assimilibables au speed/power Metal .Il fit partie d’une Line Up appelée Steeler de 1984 a 1988 et entreprit de former son propre groupe « Axel Rudi Pell » en 1989 . La formation en elle meme est comparable a Yngwie Malmsteen et Axel Rudi Pell aime reprendre des succés de groupes de l’ancienne vague metal , citons par exemple « Temple Of The King » de Rainbow . Le prochain Album de la formaion est annoncé pour l’automne 2007 !

Don't risk to say anything against Masquerade Ball ;-) It's my favorite Album... I like the variety, because their are melodic highlights (titlesong), nearly power metal songs (Earls of Black) and Ballads (Night and Rain / Temple of the holy)... simply love it

at first i was disappointed at all the slow stuff on Masquerade Ball, but when i gave it a real listen, the slow stuff is very beautiful and emotional; the songs and the guitar work are just fucking amazing :D

"Your Life (Not Close Enough To Paradise)" is really an amazing ballad... very typical rock ballad, but the vocals of Soto just gives it that extra little bit to lift it above other ballads... LOVING it!!!
