Born in France and moved to Geneva at 9, he discovered music production at 16. Ashtom first tried rock with some school friends but he early changed direction and joined the electronic movement.
First, he discovered drum&bass thanks to Goldie and was also very attracted to the french electronic music scene with the fresh sounds of Daft Punk and Air (he’s still a big fan of his idols). Since he’s 16, he kept building his small home studio in his bedroom and he still continues to record tracks only there. No studio sessions, no gigs. Just the pleasure to create new sounds, rhythms, ambiances. One of his numerous passions are video games and it is sometimes obvious in his tunes.
