Arena est un groupe britannique de rock progressif fondé en 1995 par Clive Nolan et Mick Pointer.
Musicalement, le style « néo-progressif » du groupe plonge ses racines dans des influences de rock symphonique et de hard rock. Certains des albums récents du groupe ont un son similaire au précédent groupe de Nolan, Shadowland. Toutes les paroles du groupe sont écrites par Clive Nolan

Given Seventh Degree a fair few listens now. Seriously disappointed. Clive's atmospheric keyboards have mostly been replaced by generic 80s metal guitar parts. Hopefully their next album will A) redeem them and B) not take six years to release.

@MetalDinner - Arena's "classic" album is The Visitor, although Immortal? and Contagion are also cracking albums. Better than anything by Pendragon imo.

I'm loving the new album more and more. Very intense. Different from the old albums, though. Even got some "cheesy" moments - which are great, too. And new singer Paul Manzi has its own voice, still he perfectly performs the old songs live.
