Thu 12 Apr – VNV Nation, And One
This show was great. I like that 9:30 doesn't allow smoking inside, so I'm not coughing up a friggen LUNG when I'm trying to dance. That's no fun at all.
And One was brilliant, starting off the show with
Military Fashion Show <boogies down> and then ripping right into Military Fashion Show!! I couldn't believe they were playing my absolute favorite Project Pitchfork song!! How did they Know?!?! ;-) If anyone was there for that, I was the crazy chick with the pig tails on the second level to the right of the stage SQUEALING like a banshee and jumping up and down. I was hoping for
Panzermensch and they did it for an encore. Busted in a little Personal Jesus in the middle of one of their songs, but I don't remember which one. It was so awesome.
Then VNV Nation came on and they were great too. Ronin is HILARIOUS... and there were crazy people near the front of the stage talking to him. It was funny. They did a lot of favorites, and a lot of stuff from the new album. … -

Set List, April 29 2006

Tonight was my last show for 4 months. 4 months! Seriously, people, I'm going to miss being in the station. It's one of the few things that keeps me sane. I could be in the most crappy mood in the world and ready to throw myself off the nearest tall edifice, and after my show I'd be floating.
Anyway, keep your fingers crossed that I'll get a weeknight for my show next semester so more of you people can listen.
I almost had a heart attack at the end of my show. Those of you who've listened to the stream know that the computer restarts exactly at 2:00AM. This is all well and good, but the set lists that I post here are recorded on the computer, and I make it my prerogative to email them to myself so I can post them. Tonight the computer restarted before I could email my set list to myself.
Cue 15 minutes of frantic kitten throwing files all over the computer in search of the elusive saved playlist.
Luckily, I rescued it from the clutches of peril and destruction.

God I love this track! I used to dance to this one all the time back in the day, yet never knew who did this song. 'And One' has a lot of really good music I completely missed out on. Thanks to last.fm, I am catching up!
