    I didn't know of "An Horse" until they opened for Tegan and Sara, and they blew me away with their amazing music. :)

    They opened for Tegan and Sara - just two of them filled Massey Hall with this song, and it was fabulous. Some bands rely on guitar (White Stripes) but these two were about vocals and dammit, that's some incredible drumming. Pretty impressive live.

    I will never understand why these bands think that having a bass player will diminish them somehow. Only Sleater Kinney ever managed to pull the no bass thingy off, in my opinion. Maybe I am not objective about it because I used to play bass, I don’t know. I suppose I could buy their CD and lay a bass track on it…but then, shouldn’t I get paid? Otherwise, this is quite good. It’s a shame, really.
