An Albatross nous vient de Philadelphie et débute leur première tournée en 1999. Ces premiers concerts permettent au groupe d’écouler leur 1ère démo et de sortir un EP 12 » : Eat Lightning, Shit Thunder sur When Humans Attack. La version CD voit le jour l’année suivante sur Bloodlink Records. Jusqu’en 2003, le groupe s’efforce de lier à leur hardcore un jeu de clavier toujours plus déjanté et marque le public par des prestations scéniques mémorables. We are the Lazer Viking sort en 2003 sur Ace Fu Records.
