Alec Empire est une des figures les plus importants de la scène industrielle/techno actuelle. Il est le fondateur de Atari Teenage Riot, groupe de « digital hardcore » qui sévit dans les années 90. Sa carrière solo est partagée entre mixes breakcore et concerts plutôt survoltés.
