1. Cat Power (New!)
This woman, oh oh. So happy i found her, her music is great. I often listen to Wonderwall over and over again. No doubt about putting her as number one this week!
2. Albert Hammond, Jr. (New!)
Well maybe it wasn't a suprise that this guy and his music was gonna be great. As a member of The Strokes he already had the fame. I love him! I love The Strokes!

I love these guys. They're hot, charming and makes GREAT music. Listening to them makes me so happy, and they really deserves to be number one. I really like them and their music. A concert with them would be absolutly great and; Drewl!

The third installment of my occasional series, in which I express my often biased and/or underinformed opinions about albums I've bought or acquired and then actually bothered to listen to...now with a less weird title!

Yours To Keep
Oh, lots to say about this album. I do like it; it's nothing groundbreaking, but it's good pop that sounds kinda like The Strokes, but not enough to bore you. Albert Hammond, Jr. has a good enough voice that Julian Casablancas should probably let him sing occasionally. The influences are so wide here, even I (who am not all that well-versed in spotting these kinds of things) could pick out lots of them. Holiday lifts a line straight from Kokomo. Call me crazy, but when he sings "There were birds..." in Blue Skies, I'm always convinced he's going to go right into "Till There Was You," from The Music Man. And

Scared is a real oddity--the production sounds like Aqualung, vocally he's channelling Britt Daniel…
