Pfff. J'me sens aigri. J'me sens vieillir.

Déjà, je râlais intérieurement à l'avance, constatant que les trois artistes de ce soir étaient des p'tits nouveaux qui n'ont qu'un album à leur actif, qu'ils avaient dû coûter des clopinettes, tout ça pour compenser la venue de gros nuls qui prennent cher (Vanessa Paradis, Mark Knopfler, la liste est longue). Résultat, cette année Fourvière ne propose pas grand-chose d'intéressant au niveau artistes internationaux (hors variété). Exit les Antony ou les Blur de l'an passé (qui n'était pourtant pas un millésime* fantastique) et bienvenue aux groupes plus confidentiels qui ont l'avantage de ne pas demander beaucoup d'argent.

Mais il faut bien aller à des concerts quand même, et puis bon le cadre est séduisant, et qui sait, peut-être qu'un de ces groupes va se révéler être énorme, the next big thing, la proxima estacion ?

I think it's no secret that I love France, that I would kill to live in Paris, that I adore the French language (although unfortunately I don't speak it too fluent because I'm too lazy) - and that I have a - for me - quite untypical crush on so many French artists. I wouldn't call it "obsession", but maybe it's nearly something like that, who knows. So as I listened to a lot of what is generally called chansons francaises (oh-how I hate it that last.fm won't accept the cedilla...) I thought of writing a journal entry for quite some time now, but I wasn't sure which form I should use. I think I will just present (as in "list") those artists I like the most, accompanied by their album I think is the best so far, the one I think is the most representative - or just the only one I know.
