BrokenSignals: You're not alone in thinking that way. Agents of Oblivion definitely has some early grunge sound to it, it's got that same tone in the vocals and the same gloomy atmosphere.

This band are tremendous songwriters. Thier understanding of melancholy melodies is not to be underestimated. I personally prefer them when they're less heavy and a tad more calm and heartfelt, (Endsmouth, The Hangmans Daughter) but every song is at least good.
