Biographie

Aeroplane is the Belgium-based project of Stephen Fasano and Vito De Luca.Think psyché guitars, pop keys, melancholic waves and catchy bass lines meets disco beats.

They released their 1st 12 » in 2007 « Caramellas/Aeroplane » on the Eskimo label and they gained critical acclaim from some of the biggest worldwide DJ’s and producers such as Laurent Garnier, Mylo, Optimo, Danny Howells, Joakim, Mike Simonetti and last but not least Lindstrom & Prins Thomas.

The second 12 » was released a few months after and due to the success of the 12 »s, they were asked to do a number of remixes for artists such as Cobra Dukes, Das Pop, Low Motion Disco and Coyote.

Their third 12 » “Whispers” went out in May 2008, which is a collaboration with London Singer Kathy Diamond In the next few months they are a number of remixes coming for Lindström (Feedelity), Cut Copy (Modular) and Allez Allez (Eskimo), but also their debut album is in the pipeline for Eskimo which is planned for release in 2009.

As DJ’s they are residents @ the well-known Make Up Club in Ghent, where they play a mix of old and nu disco, psyche pop, classic house & Balearic.
