Wed 5 Mar – The Young Knives
The University of Plymouth is a place I have many memories of. The student union, I have even more memories of. Illusion (inside the student union) I have even more memories of ranging from creating the first Edwin Jefferson poster there, to using it to hold meetings for the failed union radio station to a location for this documentary (which you probably won't understand).
Last night, I saw The Young Knives there. Dacsha supported. Johnny Foreigner were ill.
There are no photographs, as I was forbidden by security to take them of The Young Knives, having taken really bad photos of Dacsha (sorry!). However, I have a setlist...
I'd seen The Young Knives in November anyway, so it didn't matter that much to me. You can see those photos (and compare setlists) here.
I'm not really used to writing gig reviews.
All I'll say is, it was insensitive of Henry to suggest pulling down Charles Church, which is a memorial to Plymouth's Blitz -…
