Acid Mothers Temple & The melting paraiso UFO est un groupe protéiforme issu de la scene noise psychédélique Japonaise. Le grand coordonnateur de ses activités est Kawabata Makoto qui y assure la guitare et le leadership. D’autres membres de longue date sont Higashi Hiroshi et Cotton Casino. Les pieces jouées sont souvent très longues et bruyantes sous forme de mantra cosmique qui émanerait de l’explosion d’étoiles. Une autre facette assez reconnaissable du groupe est sa tendance a pasticher des titres de chansons et d’albums classiques ainsi que des pochettes. Le tout reste toutefois tres respectueux de l’original et la musique cachée sous le pastiche n’a souvent que tres peu à voir avec le pastiche.
