*For the record: eigenlijk hoort het album 'Last Words: The Final Recordings' van Screaming Trees ook in dit lijstje - in de top 5 - thuis, maar omdat het hier om nummers gaat die al in 1998 werden opgenomen en toen al 'gelekt' naar buiten zijn gekomen heb ik 'm achterwege gelaten. Wel een fantastische plaat en heel fijn dat deze in 2011 alsnog posthuum officieel is uitgebracht.

ein konzertabend ist immer auch eine art sozialstudie. die gewonnenen erkenntnisse werden jedoch zumeist nicht wissenschaftlich erhoben und verarbeitet. sollte man vielleicht öfter tun. empirische daten zur altersstruktur, zur länge des auftritts, zur güte des sounds oder zu fragen des lichteinsatzes in sachen bühnenbeleuchtung wären dabei das eine, individuelle ansichten und einblicke das andere. hätte man am dienstag abend gegen 22:00 uhr eine stichprobe gezogen und teilnehmer des The Felice Brothers konzertes in der freiheizhalle zu münchen dahingehend interviewt, wie ihnen das laufende konzert gefallen würde, hätte man unterschiedlichste antworten erhalten. mancher floh gar, andere zogen eine flunsch, viele waren schwer begeistert. ursache der unterschiedlichen stimmungslage wäre wohl, und hier hätte man im universitären sinne tiefer graben müssen, eine sehr individuelle vorbereitung auf den auftritt der jungs from upstate new york gewesen. …
