Rockstar Mayhem Festival dates announced!!! Yes or No?

As the serious music fans know, the Rockstar Mayhem Festival is coming to (your) town(s) this summer. They'd promised to put the dates up on the official website today, but that hasn't happened yet.

Slipknot to the rescue. Tour dates are now listed on their MySpace page. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm facing 4 - 5 hours of driving for the show, but that's quite alright with me.

Here's what I think of the lineup:

Slipknot: They're working on a new album, which is great. The problem is that most of what I like from them is from 2 of their previous releases: Iowa and Slipknot. Maybe if I'm lucky they'll play My Plague, Left Behind, Surfacing, Wait And Bleed, (Sic) or Everything Ends, but I'm not banking on it :(

Disturbed: They'll play Stupify, Prayer, Shout 2000 and Remember. Hopefully. The rest I don't really care too much about.

Dragonforce: Apparently you can't say "power metal" without these guys entering the conversation. …

Hoobastank vs. Unseen vs. Blacklisted?

After listening God Forbid for weeks, I found my way back to Modern Life Is War, Blacklisted and Norma Jean. Well I guess you can see any recent changes after that on my profile.
This Journal Entry aint gonna be 'bout any new releases or my favourite bands, as it's some kind of introduction to my taste.
First of all: Please Excuse my bad English, im from Germany and learn English from school and music.

Well then some short opinions bout releases this month (at least they were realeased this month in germany):

36 Crazyfists: They were my favourite Band for like half a year or so and I still love Tracks like Bury Me Where I Fall, Slit Wrist Theory, Happy Day Riot or The Heart And The Shape. Anyway, I'm not listening this music to much these days, but still couldn't wait to hear the new Album. I gotta say they changed a lot (again) and it's not a sequel of Bitterness the Star and A Snow Capped Romance. One of the aspects why I love the Band is Brocks Voice and this is what made the Band unique for me, too. …

Rest Inside The Flames and my concert

I was at the Portland show last Friday and Brock informed us that Rest Inside The Flames is coming out on the 13th of June!!

Oh, and if you are wondering how the concert was...words can't describe it, it was more than amazing, the only down part of it is when Brock crowdsurfed he landed on my right arm and almost broke it.

and in case you're wondering, yes, I met Brock. And Steve and Mick and Thomas...and I have Brock's towel and Steve's plectrum (which was given to me by the lighting guy because I was the first person to arrive at the venue)

I have another announcement: If you live in Oregon and want to see 36 Crazyfists, they will be having a concert on the 23rd of April at Rock n' Roll Pizza in Portland for Brock's birthday.
