My musical history is full of obscure, but nonetheless, fantastic songs that either came and went so quickly that they were doomed to fade from memory, or those that time is simply washing away, no matter their popularity at the time. I would desperately like to remember those for the future, so I'm listing them here.

As a child, I came across these in miscellaneous mix tapes and such. I would have fabulous concerts to there beats; having no idea to their real meanings.

So overall, tonight's Gwen-inspired show was okay, but definitely nothing to write home about. There wasn't one person that owned the show, but there definitely were a couple of bottom-feeders.

Top 3:
Melinda Doolittle (Heaven Knows) - The vocal got a bit lost in the band, but overall, it was another great vocal performance.
Blake Lewis (Love Song) - The judges had no clue that it was 311 again, but he done did it again. And no beat-boxing, either.
Chris Richardson (Don't Speak) - I liked both Gina and Chris, but of course I'm going to give the edge to Chris. I liked the scratching and the R&B feel. Hopefully he'll make a bit of a rebound this week.

Bottom 3:
Sanjaya Malakar (Bathwater) - It's as if he's taunting us now..."I know I suck, so I'm gonna REALLY stink it up!"
Haley Scarnato (True Colors - No depth to her vocal whatsoever. Dust? Anyone?
Chris Sligh (Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic) - He's definitely losing his edge, he's definitely behind the beat, and he's definitely falling apart.
