    listened to this once the week it came out, thought it was total crap. went back and listened to it about a week ago and have come to love this album. it might be my favorite by them.

    I don't see how people think this album is softer. Its really just a 2009 311. They have "changed" with the times, but its really still the same band and the same amazing music they have been making for about 2 decades. I will never understand how people want a band to keep producing the old stuff over and over, then you would complain about it all sounding the same. Stop trying to find something to complain about and come together for this band. That's what they're about, unity. End of rant.

    Top 3 with Transistor and Evolver. The whole thing's like a best of album. No one REALLY listens to what's going on in these songs sadly; 311 have outgrown some fans but that's to be expected with any band as amazing as them.

    this album definitely surprised me ....i have been a fan since the beginning.... and was not a fan of their last 2 CDs at least.....but this album has really gotten stuck in my head and so many songs have many different elements of what makes 311 good.

    All you need to do really is stop comparing this album to their early albums. In fact, you should compare different 311 records that just blasphemy bahaha.

    Hit and fricken miss. It's a good album if you didn't fall in love with their early stuff but man they are just getting soft. If you just ignore their harder side (which I was expecting) then yeah, it's good....but a little disappointed here.

    Took a while for me to like it, but it's a solid album. My favorites are definitely Get Down, Never Ending Summer & Jackpot (so awesome live). And the signed 311 poster I got with it probably made me like it even more haha.

    The best songs on the album to me are: Hey You, It's Alright, Never Ending Summer, Jackpot and Get Down. All have the most meaning and are not love songs lol 311 will always rock because they are a such a strong band with energy, unity and a good message. -Stay Positive, Love your Live!!!

    the first time i listened to it.. it was alright.. by the second time i was like WOAH... it's very melodic, but i suppose it is that way because it is called "uplifter" after all.. I wish they would've rocked out a little harder like they did in the olden days, but I do have to say I'm a lot happier with this album than the last two, evolver and don't tread on me. no matter what though, they'll always be amazing!!
