Yeah, don't know what to tell you. When Kiyoharu mentioned in interviews that the 1.29.14 live was going to be the end of Kuroyume, I was actually happy. Some bands come back after a long hiatus and just sound like shadows of their former selves. I especially thought that after Headache and Dub Reel Inch. So, I was thinking that maybe they didn't want to overstay their welcome. I thought kuro to kage was a great way to cap off the bands career. Now that we know they're continuing....I dunno. I'll reserve judgement once Reverb is released.
Ya know, it doesn't seem like they are, as they have lives scheduled for April, May, and June. The intriguing part is that it seems they'll be revisiting their indies material. While I'd usually balk at that, it would be really cool to hear updated versions of all those songs. Doubt if Shin will be involved (he seems to be cool with Hitoki, have no idea about Kiyoharu). Anyway, it seems as if Kuroyume is being "rebooted" as opposed to disbanding.
