    both Kirby's Squeak Squad and Air Ride should probably use this tag: http://www.last.fm/music/Hirokazu+Ando%2C+Shogo+Sakai%2C+Tadashi+Ikegami%2C+Jun+Ishikawa

    I'm so confused. I have both Kirby Super Star Ultra and Kirby's Adventure's OST, and I don't know how to tag them, lol. I read both of them were composed by Ishikawa and Ando, but I'm still confused XD;

    I wouldn't be surprised if Ishikawa didn't do any new composing at all, the man hasn't done much composition at all since Kirby 64. This saddens me so.

    hm, infact, reading closer, it appears that Ando was mostly responsible for the HAL songs. Ishikawa mentions doing mixing/mastering. maybe the final battle musics are the only ones that are his? who knows. will need a closer listen~

    Minnie-Moog: all current information comes from the Iwata Asks interview (page 4 onwards): http://us.wii.com/iwata_asks/kirbysepicyarn/vol1_page4.jsp - it has clarified (roughly) that new songs are by Tomita, old/arranged songs are by HAL. so Tomita did do the lion's share, though not all of it. there'd need to be a soundtrack release for a more elaborate breakdown, but it's possible to glean who did what somewhat from that interview.

    mm yeah, HAL handled the latter half of the game's music / remakes, but there's nothing clearer than that. the final boss songs are credited to ishikawa in particular, and the green greens arrangement is ando's AFAIK. beyond that though.... need an OST with a song breakdown :[ downloading that now! awesome, i'm excited.

    I ripped the soundtrack for Ryoku TV but I can't tell which pieces are Ishikawa's. Also, as beautiful as Epic Yarn's OST seems to be, it's almost entirely some other guy's composition with only classic Kirby tracks credited as Ishikawa's.

    I'm happy to announce that, beyond any shadow of a doubt, there are now images of the man. http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/interview/rk5j/vol1/index4.html I think we can put this issue to bed now. can't wait for a translation of that.
