"My less-famous final battle song is better than OWA" LOL OWA must have really left a mark on VGM, since everyone goes back to compare every single song to it. Kudos for Uematsu for having made such an influentional track. (and just for the record, I actually prefer DM over OWA, but I still find all this bitching so amusing lol)

Neither is better nor worse than the other in my opinion. Dancing Mad fits perfectly for the Kefka battle, and One-Winged Angel fits perfectly for the Sephiroth battle. They are both great pieces of music.

So what you're saying... Dancing Mad = Divine, Transcendent, Masterpiece; One-Winged Angel = Overrated, Self-indulgent, Convoluted.

I am going to be one of those who says this isn't better than OWA. What I love about both is that they both represent specific things within their respective stories. I have always found it odd that people try to compare each game when they all pretty much from game to game have different staff and visions for what they are meant to be.

redeeming that mistake was a mistake, though.

*takes a look at own previous shout* Did I actually say that? I can hardly believe it. Whatever, I shall redeem myself now for making such a mistake. OWA > this. The guitar solo from the Black Mages version is still the best thing ever, though.
