"because last.fm decided to put some strange other groups by that names, but with different capitalization, into my library. "---> uhm last fm doesn't have anything to do with it.... last fm is made by the people who use it. it's their own fault, why do they use MINT and DIVA as artist names, it's not hard to figure out that those names are totally overused by other bands/artists... artist names in normal latin script have a standard capitalization so MINT=>Mint etc.
It's not the tag that is wrong, but last.fm ignoring the "Album Artist" information, if present. The "Artist" field of the songs should be tagged as "アンダーガールズ" and the "Album Artist" tag as "AKB48". Nonetheless, I also had to change it back for DIVA and MINT units on the Beginner singles, because last.fm decided to put some strange other groups by that names, but with different capitalization, into my library.
Yeah, but not without AKB48. Those are AKB48 concerts, AKB48 singles and AKB48 shows. They do make a distinction between the main senbatsu and Undergirls/Theater Girls. Not arguing with that. I'm saying it is pretty weird tagging the main senbatsu as the artist AKB48 but this isn't. There is no artist called Undergirls. King Records only make the distinction on some singles also. On Heavy Rotation there is no "(歌:アンダーガールズ)" after Namida no Seesaw Game for example.
