MuffinCoffin Wow, 津軽海峡・冬景色 is an awesome cover! At first I thought it was her own song and wasn't expecting it to develop into anything that awesome past the nice intro but then... :o. I just wish she could come up with these kind of killer tunes on her own once more. It's been too long since Home, the quality-era. Now she definitely needs to sing this song with Sayuri at this year's Kouhaku!

soushokukeiDino After listening a couple times, my only real complaints are the lesser-remakes of モラルの葬式 and HOME, I don't like the vocal effects in the otherwise solid track My Grandfather's Clock, and I don't like 目撃車。 Also, a minor complaint is her cover of Billy Joel's Honesty, but it's not like her other covers where she made her own Japanese lyrics for the majority of the song with the last chorus being in original English. I Have a Dream is awesome. フリオ is such a feel-good song. And 津軽海峡・冬景色 is the bessssssssst. I was like, "Woah! Angie doing Enka?? ... Of course she can!"

It may be a "last-minute-album" but Angie has written so many songs in her life, I'm sure if her record label held a gun to her head and said, "Release an album tomorrow" she could make 3 full ones.

Wow! Just read an article on natalie about it and apparently she was pregnant at the beginning of the year, but it was an ectopic pregnancy and she had to have surgery. The baby was, of course, lost. But she is pregnant again, and has been for 5 months! And it's a healthy pregnancy. She said she's going to continue signing and sounded very positive about it. She seems like she'll use her pregnancy and all of the new things that come with it as inspiration. She'll also hold her annual December 26th live concert as usual. She describes that opportunity as a "Miracle Concert." CONGRATS TO ANGIE!!
