Sea of the Dying Dhow a été enregistré en un mois dans un appartement avec du matériel d’enregistrement basique. La batterie a été enregistré à Londres avec leur ami Mark Williams aux Criterion studios. Dans l’album il y a beaucoup de sons de guitares différents, d’instruments, du vibraphone… et Sea of the Dying Dhow est un amalgame de sons et d’émotion.

Les textes ont pour thème de traiter sur la naissance et la mort, les anges, ce qui vient après… la montée et la chute des empires… la nature… l’amour, la haine… la douleur et le plaisir… et la recherche de la paix et de l’équilibre.
