Since two years, ZeECc has delivered many EPs and LPs available on best digital stores and it’s now time to present our first release on vinyl and continue our dub-techno explorations on other format. For this one, we have chosen to combine 4 tracks from 2 dub-techno pioneers from the East (Mr. Cloudy & Grad_U) and 2 others, discovered or revealed by ZeECc (The Nautilus Project & Axs).
Lulled by loud bass, hypnotic rhythms and delayed chords, all these artists propose here some different reinterpretations of dubby roots with the minimal grooves and delicate atmospheres. ‘dream of you’ goes on positive and light vibes, oscillating between deep heavy bass and some filtered noises. ‘Unnamed1’ bangs deeper again with subtle ethnic notes on a progressive structure. ‘Ebb & Flow’ is perfectly named and will take you into the aquatic world of The Nautilus Project: from dark sea bed to quiet surface. Finally ‘Out of Sight’ is a learned mixture of techno, dub and dubstep elements, combined around a broken and complex rhythmic.
