Weird scrobbling --> tracks scrobbling more than once

Sorry, this might be long-winded... I've been using iscrobbler for the last couple of years with no hitches until the last week or so...

I know what's changed in my setup but I can't figure how it's affecting the scrobbling/how to fix the problem.

> I now keep my itunes library on an external drive which I usually play through itunes on 3 different computers (work/home/laptop). I use iscrobbler to scrobble the tracks as they play straight out of itunes. No problems here.

> In transit I'll listen to my ipod which I then sync/scrobble once I'm back on a computer + external drive/itunes library.

> Whenever I sync my ipod now tho' it seems to re-scrobble all the tracks I've listened to in the last 24 hours or so... so it's doubling everything I listen to.

> I think the only times when it hasn't resubmitted a double bunch of tracks is when I sync the ipod to the computer I last listened via itunes on.

> So it's almost like if I listen/scrobble a bunch of tracks from my work computer, then listen to my ipod and sync that to my laptop, iscrobbler sees the ipod tracks in the Recently Played list as well as all the tracks I played at work and resubmits them all!!

??? Pretty weird ~ what the heck ???
