Hello Tucker Fans! I've been leading several groups here on lastfm for a while, but I don't have the time to lead them anymore. I just abdicated leadership of Gov't Mule and The Movie Group. I'd like to find new leaders for Robert Cray and Concert Stories and The Marshall Tucker Band. If you'd like to lead one, let me know with a message or post in the group shoutbox. These groups deserve leaders who will take an active role in leadership.

First got into the Marshall Tucker Band thru being a massive fan of Jethro Tull. Yes it was the flute sound, which still to this day dominates my CD collection. They never did a thing in Britain, but will always be one of my fav. bands. Best track for me is Can't You See.

I finally took a few minutes to learn a couple of page dress-up techniques and updated the group page. If anyone has some suggestions, I'd like to hear them!

My twin brother, who also loves MTB, told me today that he can't understand why more artists haven't done covers of MTB's songs.

March 29, 2008: The Allman Brothers Band is canceling shows because Gregg Allman is unable to play as he undergoes treatment for hepatitis C. The band has canceled appearances in Florida and bowed out of 15 SOLD OUT shows at New York's Beacon Theatre in May. The group says that for the past 6 months, Allman has been treated for hep C, which can lead to cirrhosis of the liver or liver cancer.
