  I think it's a disgrace that Shirley wasn't allowed to make a solo record because they wanted pop, but I appluad her for not falling under pressure for being forced to make something she dosen't want.

  By the way, Autotune was around in 1998. Reference Cher's God awful song "Believe". Oh yes, as much as I love her, she's responsible for all of this autotune nonsense.

  Garbage is not fucking autotuned, are you guys serious? Autotune didn't even exist when the first album came out. Sure they use vocal effects on some tracks, but nothing to cover up Shirley's voice. If you think "Milk" contains a 'crappy autotune sample' you seriously have some hearing problems.

  @ Marie_Belgium Autotune initial release date: 1997. Milk release date: 1994. Have you ever seen them live? if you had, you would know she can sing pretty close to that. ;)

  @ marie Many people dont know about autotune at all, i guess thats why they dont hear it. But sure, once you know it, this is freakin' impossible to ignore. Considering garbage, version 2.0 is massively autotuned.
