Run To Safety is an outcome of the meeting of Herbie and Franck, on June, 21st 2006. Romain is a composer and was performing in the streets of Chambery, France during "La Fête de la Musique" with his acoustic guitar, a micro holding with Sellotape® and 15 watts amps. His talent and his surprising means got more than 150 persons' attention, who were sitting, relaxing and taking part of his captivating and touching universe. Franck was one of them, he's the manager of the young French label, "Etoa". Other musicians rapidly joined the project that 2 be called Run To Safety: Charles (bass), Florian (guitar, keyboard, percussions, glockenspiel), and Lucie (vocals and percussions) followed by Herbie (vocals, guitar, keyboard) and Franck (drums, programming).
The first EP was realized by the band and mixed by Franck @ "Etoa, le studio" after only 2 months of intensive work. After 4 months, the band's "repertoire" was growing and they were performing at local stages. The band refined its style and found its identity between post-rock, pop and electro, feeding with the different influences of its members: King Crimson, Yes, The Cure, Radiohead, Mogwai, Muse ... The realization of We As Monsters album was in the end of 2007.
