    I just posted in the "most psychedelic" thread, but feel compelled to create a new one dedicated to this guy...

    I am actually quite shocked that no one brought him up before I did. How the hell can anyone be considered anywhere near as psychedelic?

    I highly recommend you stick Analord (released under the alias AFX) on next time you trip and bathe in its perfection. The Tuss (especially Rushup Edge) is another of his recent aliases and is also totally incredible.

  • yes but...

    prior to analord he was being artsy and avoiding all cliches of the commercial dance-scene and his sound usually verged on the user-hostile side...
    although an experienced, or arrived tripper is unperturbed by anything, anyone still in the infancy of their experience would be likely to find that earlier work (not the first two) very challenging indeed.
    and with ozric tentacles also - their mid period work has moments in it that Almost (but never quite entirely) make it UnSuitable for a psychedelic experience due to moving too much... earlier work being gentler and subtler, with fewer shocking surprises.
