recommend me some psychedelic rock!

i think the doors, jefferson airplane, the velvet undergound, and hendrix will be good for starters. lately i'm listening to united states of america, it's great psychedelic band.

i don't like grateful dead, too. perhaps this music is too boring for me, but if you want, you can check it yourself;d

i hope you'll like it, it's really awesome kind of music;d

It's NOTHING like the stoned-out extensive and extremely boring jamsessions you (and I) hate so much, it's brilliant! To me it sounds very British.
I'd describe it as an avant-garde approach towards a psychedelic concept-album resulting in beautiful and amazing sounds, and very accessible too..

please try this album, you won't be disappointed

and the new electro-experimental-psych bands are awesome too. for example try a few of these musics:

Black Moth Super Rainbow
Black Mountain
Dead Meadow

Be sure and listen to the new psych rock bands along with the older ones. It's wonderful how it seems like a whole new scene has come up around it.
