• Eurotix - I Plead Insanity (Press release)

    16 mars 2014, 15h34m par BimboBoy

Eurotix is a new project from Sweden, ready to put the "pop" back in synthpop. Members Dennis Alexis Hellström (vocals) and Larry Forsberg (keys and knobs) both share a passion for eighties music, so their songs are heavily influenced by the synthpop/eurodisco sound of that era. But with a modern twist.

"Our main goal with Eurotix is to make an album we'd enjoy listening to ourselves. We're in this for the love of synthpop, to have fun. And if others like it too, that's a big bonus!"

The debut single, I Plead Insanity, has just been released digitally. It was the first song Larry and Dennis recorded together, so it holds a special place in their hearts. The maxi-single also includes a remix of the title track, an Army of Lovers cover and the exclusive B-side "Replay".

"I Plead Insanity” is out now on:

Millennium, one of the newest and most edgy groups to hit the pop music scene, announced the release of their first single 'Beach Anthem' today. It's a suitable title given that the song transports you to a world of sun, surf and sand with its infectious pop melody and cool reggae groove. An added bonus to this feel-good first single is that it features platinum artist Baby Bash, whose distinctive voice has become synonymous with girls, good times and nonstop fun!

Initially this talented group from Los Angeles had a tough time choosing their debut single from their portfolio of songs which blend catchy hooks, acoustic instrumentation and hip-hop flavor. But with an extended summer season of triple-digit heat and the beach on everyone's mind, 'Beach Anthem' seemed to be the natural choice. According to Sapphire, one of the singers for Millennium, "Beach Anthem is a tribute to beachgoers all around the world, whether on Venice Beach or the coast of Nice!"

Millennium consists of Stryker, composer, producer and singer for the group, K-King, Sapphire and Adonis- a colorful group of characters on the road to success, beginning with their new single 'Beach Anthem'. The song will soon hit airwaves across the nation and a regional tour is also in the works. Within a few short months, don't be surprised if Beach Anthem becomes the chorus sung over barbeque and bonfire pits across the globe.

'Beach Anthem' is now available on iTunes and other major retailers. Download it today and keep the summer vibe going!

    10 sept. 2012, 8h58m par musicdish

When new pop/R&B sensation Andre Mieux aka A.M.X. boasts "We Can Do Whatever" in the hook of his latest single release, he means it! Unleashing the track on the heels of his debut "You Made Me Change My Number," which featured none other than rap icon Snoop Dogg, A.M.X. spits game with the stamina of an artist hauling heat. Produced by dance track master Brian "Chazz" Padilla, "We Can Do Whatever" body slams with lyrical combustion as A.M.X. continues to pack power on his musical path to the top! With "We Can Do Whatever," A.M.X. seamlessly showcases his brilliant artistry, effortlessly fusing elements of rap, pop and house, bringing a sound that sizzles and simmers to the dance floor.

A.M.X.'s recent mixtape "Broken Halo," downloaded over 90,000 times on Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, was another recent indication that he is an artist with a strong intention for winning. A.M.X. dropped "Broken Halo" late July, following the Snoop Dogg-laced, "You Made Me Change My Number" which was produced by the Grammy Award nominated duo "Da Internz." Sean Brown, Shorty Mack and Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony added fire to the production which showcases A.M.X.'s vocal finesse, musical muscle and clear capacity to ignite the club. Seven tracks strong, "Broken Halo," is a far departure from the A.M.X.'s classical roots however!

A classically trained pianist, musicianship rests deep within the core of A.M.X.'s heart. The West Covina, CA native has been writing, singing and dancing since he was 8 years old. By the age of 12, he was producing music with Grammy Award winning artist, Ricky Lawson of the Yellowjackets. A.M.X.'s musical gift has indeed forged a litany of accomplishments.

Outside of his quest as a solo artist and entertainer, he is also a talented songwriter and producer. His song, "Let Me Be the One" was recorded by the Korean boy band sensation SS501, he charted on Billboard's The Next Big Sound Top 25 and his musical vision provides the soundtrack for the DVD independent film release, "Wigger." In addition to his new single release, A.M.X. produced and co-wrote a song for Bobby DeBarge Jr., son of the late Robert DeBarge, entitled "One and Only." Both "We Can Do Whatever," and "One and Only" are available on iTunes.

Committed and determined to excel as a solo act, A.M.X. has been touring internationally and nationally in support of his career, opening for Boyz II Men, Joe, Ginuwine, SWV, Dru Hill and most recently R. Kelly. "I'm excited to infuse my own special style and brand into the music scene," offers A.M.X. "As a kid playing classical piano, I knew music was my life. My musical progression has taken dips and turns. To end up here though, making music with some of the hottest in the business, it is beyond a dream come true! I'm really feeling like I can do whatever right now and win!"

A.M.X. plans to continue to do 'whatever,' bombarding music fans with ammunition from his musical catalog of hits. The artist plans to shoot a video music video soon and release an E.P. in the near future. Check for the A.M.X. penned Bobby DeBarge Jr. single "One and Only," at and A.M.X's "We Can Do Whatever" at

  • Review: "Sunny Day" By R&B/Pop Talent Amira

    24 août 2012, 19h31m par musicdish

"Sunny Day" is an R&B and pop mix that lifts your spirits and elevates your mood and day. It's the perfect way to ease into chill mode and be relaxed and at peace. It just made the top of my morning mix because the words and the music are so positive. The piano and keys get this song started with a warm mix and easy mid tempo dance track, with a nice kick drum. The percussion isn't "in your face," but is smooth, and the vocals are rocking. Amira has a great soft, soulful voice, and the background vocals complement the song well. With lyrics like, "Nothing's gonna change my mind, Nothing's gonna bring me down", that are set to smooth, but catchy music; "Sunny Day" just keeps you on a high note. The high string hits really add nice touches, and the track is well produced. This is a great song for a world that needs more smiles and positivity."

  • R&B/Pop Talent Amira Releases Debut Single, "Sunny Day" From Upcoming Self-Titled EP

    20 août 2012, 10h20m par musicdish

Bridgett McKenzie, Manager for the up and coming R&B/pop talent Amira, announced the release of Amira's new single, "Sunny Day". The track is the debut release from Amira's self-titled EP, which is slated for release early next year. "Sunny Day" is being made available to fans at no cost on Amira's Facebook page.

McKenzie is enthusiastic about both the release and the artist. "Amira is a breath of fresh air. She merges multiple genres into an R&B base with a soulful, smooth voice, and the combination is both powerful and unique. Her lyrics are meaningful and catchy, and she really takes pride in what she writes and sings. She's a great, clean cut artist whose music both children and parents can agree on, because it's good and it's positive." She continued, "Sunny Day" is a song that we're both very proud of. It has the same kind of vibe that Will Smith's "Summertime" has, and while it's soothing, you can definitely bump your head to it. Amira doesn't compromise when it comes to her music or career, and this song will prove that. She's a very versatile artist who is able to perform songs from many different genres and still produce a great track. In the next couple of weeks, fans will see another side of her on YouTube as she performs the cover for Taylor Swift's new song, "We Are Never Getting Back Together."

  • Disney Chooses KC Jockey's Single “Toast To The Dads" For Latest Game "Tap Tap…

    22 jui. 2012, 21h27m par musicdish

Pop/R&B artist KC Jockey seems to be on quite a streak of success, in many areas of the entertainment industry including modeling, film, and music, or perhaps it’s just good karma returning. Either way, the Jamaican born singer/songwriter’s single, “Toast To The Dads,” has been chosen by Disney for inclusion on it new iPhone app, Tap Tap Revenge: Tour. The app is the most recent in the game’s series, and will be released on Wednesday, July 18th. The original version, Tap Tap Revolution was released in September 2007. The series has continued to be one of the most popular games available to iPhone users.

KC Jockey’s other recent accomplishments include his song, “A Better Jamaica” being considered as the theme song for Jamaica’s Post Independent 50th Anniversary Celebration. Delivering another solid record reflecting a topic near and dear to his heart – domestic violence – KC Jockey’s single “Girl You’re Free,” ranked in the top 40 of Top 40’s R&B charts on May 22, 2012. The song also took the top spot on WXAC 91.3's Urban - Reggae Charts for the week ending September 25, 2011 and has been quite popular with domestic violence advocacy groups.

Commenting on “Toast To The Dads,” Paul Anderson of The Entertainment Bank said, “Much respect goes out to KC Jockey for his very hip and happening tribute to all of the great fathers and dads of the world. There are many men who are providing for and nurturing their children, yet all we seem to hear about are those who aren’t so great. With “Toast To The Dads,” KC Jockey sings a passionate tribute to his own father and all others who are striving to do the right thing. It’s a strong single with positive, heartfelt lyrics that will touch any real dad’s heart, and make those who are failing for whatever reason rethink their positions and remember the honor that comes with this responsibility. This is such a great message, and like all of KC Jockey’s songs, it’s set to an up tempo pop/R&B beat infused with reggae that is great for dancing or just listening to. The music is excellent, and as always, I’m impressed by KC Jockey’s commitment to all things positive. He doesn’t just talk the talk; he walks the walk as well.”

KC Jockey attributes the success of his music to his unique style of combining pop, R&B, and reggae with a topic that will have meaning and relevance for a lifetime. "The music I make is timeless and significant. It's deep, and when you have a good sound and a good message, people are drawn to it." KC Jockey owns his own record label, Sweet Sadie’s Records.
