One of the main goals is to approach those outstanding pieces of music in the different genres or subgenres to enjoy music in all its shapes. Other prime goal of this group is to assist to find enjoyable music in not so enjoyable music genres for you. Of course each user have their own opinion of what a good song is. So what better than hearing the different recommendations for each kind of music? Just check the forums, and ask for a subgenre you wish to know better (if nobody asked before), or post your recommendations in one of those threads.
You are also free to post any other topic of anything else there.

Here, NOT members have the same privileges as members. Yes, not members can also post in the forum. So please, join as a member only if you agree with the group (read the description). Aren't you sure? Ask in the forum.

    fredagsfil: Still much better this case than "hey I listen only to only most old & true demos of norwegian black metal, other stuff is shit". Too many Last.fm users and listeners in general tend to this genre "purity" and consequential hatred towards all other genres (of which they in fact haven't heard anything).

    46.76% do I fit in? But I do listen ANY kind of music. I am probably the only one the planet who has cheesy balkanese rnb (Elena Risteska) next to jpop (Utada) and kpop (BoA?)... psytrance, eurovision and Britney, Madonna and russian rock, 1990s tracks you all love but would never admit you still do, because they are "so 1990s"... all alongside of Ofra Haza, Bjork, Bad Religion and Anti-flag, czech protestsongs from the 1960s - 1990s... some classic rock... I will basically listen to anything that creates some emotion... or makes me to make total fool of myself dancing around the room and jumping on furniture... peace ya'll.

    My musical preference is 52.42% similar to the People who can enjoy ANY kind of music group. Musically, I fit in! How well do you fit in? I feel like I can drink at least one beer from every country! Hmmm... maybe difficult in Belgium - but even there must be a drinkable one ;-)
