hmmm.

as a whole I'd go with Technique. Power Corruption Lies has got MANY great songs but some are a bit poor (ultraviolence or ectasy are good ones but far from 586 or The Village).
Low Life would be a good pick too.

En realida no puedo elegir ninguno porque todos me gustan, pero por decir uno de los mas favoritos es el de TECHNIQUE, sobre todo por la cancion Vanishing Point, que es espectacular.

hi, i've just recently joined this group.....
being one of their newer fans, waiting for the sirens' call is my favorite album-- although i became their fan from "crystal" onwards (hope i won't get myself into trouble either ^^;)

yea i got encountered with new order by 60mph, although i certainly heard that music in my childhood, but i don't remember of course.
nevertheless i find "technique" the most impressing one, followed by "get ready".

btw, i'm one of those fans that haven't heard all of no's albums as i hold the intention that i just hear about one album per year in order to always combine some special feelings with one of them. this includes some like brotherhood and low life.
new order is the only band with whom i'm doing so :)

I was gonna come in here and say Power, Corruption, and Lies is my favorite, though I admit I've never been able to get my hands on a copy of Technique. Seems like I'll have to order one and see into it. Not like New Order has ever made me feel like I needed my money back. Fantastic music.

Okay, it seems to differ over the years, but for now 1. Brotherhood 2. Low Life 3. Technique. In a few months maybe 3.,1.,2. or even another release. But for know I´m quite sure.

Movement...fantastic post punk record. Seriously underrated.

PC&L might not be stunning all the way through imo, but Age of Consent, Your Silent Face, and Leave Me Alone are enough to make it a favourite of mine.

I'm not massively into Low Life as much as I used to be, but I still adore The Perfect Kiss, This Time of Night and Sooner Than You Think. Love Vigilantes is nice too.

Brotherhood is also another underrated one IMO, I can't resist songs like Way of Life or Angel Dust. And it has my favourite version of Bizarre Love Triangle.

Substance is great cause of the non-album singles and b-sides, some of which are among the band's greatest songs.

Technique is brilliant also, a great album.

It used to be Technique, but now I think it must be Low-life. Not easy to pick one, as they're more of a singles band... biggest pop singles since the dawn of mankind, indeed.

Never really cared for Low-life or their later work. And Substance doesn't count, cos it's a compilation ^^
