Welcome to the Music Advice Center!

    .

Have you ever wanted to work in a record store?

Now you can (in 2 easy steps)!

    Step 1:
First off, get yourself a company badge, which will distinguish you from the punters.

This is a line in your sig (use this code).

    *create a position for yourself:

    ie:

    Hotdesk Assistant
    Backroom Boy
    Scary Mary
    Chairman of the Board
    Window Cleaner

Use your imagination! The end product will look something like my own sig.

    Step 2:
Having done that, announce yourself to the rest of the MAC Team (the last post in this thread). All done!

    Useless Information...

    Do I Get A Salary?
Of course! You get a virtual cheque each month, cashable at any virtual bank.

Will there be any heavy lifting?
    Don't be daft...

    The Staff Room:
Make yourself cosy in the Virtual Staff Room. Grab the biscuit tin, open the newspaper, impress your colleagues by reciting the latin name for the growth in the microwave.

    Code Of Conduct:
This is an inclusive group and all genres are respected. By extension, we resist the urge to criticize people's taste. If you look closely, you'll notice most of us have no bottom lips.

    Specialists...

    Be An Artists Expert:
You can hold up to 5 artists in your portfolio (just add these to your signature).

    Be A Desk Supervisor:
This option is for regular members who have served at least a month. If that time passes, you can take any vacant desk and make it your own!

    Bits and Bobs...

    Your Birthday:
We'll be glad to mention your birthday on the front page (and stick your choice of album in the window). Just give details here.

    Profile Page Badge:
The height of sophistication these days is a MAC badge on your profile page.

    Use this code.

    Footnote:
The MAC is still new and areas are under construction, but bare with us (and ignore the virtual drilling).
