    Clearing the cache without scrobbling it ?

    Can I clear the cache manually without scrobbling it somehow ?
    Because I've already scrobbled the tracks in the cache once, and now I'm stuck, the tracks won't go away from the cache and I can't scrobble them again since I only get an error message (which makes no sense in itself but I guess it's caused by the above) and the tracks stay in the cache even though I can see (at least one instance of) them in my profile (last.fm is as usual a bit behind on tracklisting so I can't see whether they're scrobbled once or more than once, I assume once since the spam protection was also as usual triggered).

    Using file manager, delete the "cache.xml" file in the folder you installed last.fm Mobile to (by default either "\Program Files\last.fm Mobile" or "\Storage Card\Program Files\last.fm Mobile").

    Would be interesting to know which message that it is, nevertheless.

    Well, I can't reproduce it right now but if I remember correctly and freely translated from Swedish the message says something in the line of "Cannot display error message since there is no associated resource collection"

    I assume it is trying to say that there's some missing resource file (I think I remember you having linked to one somewhere but I never installed it)

    The error message you are referring to is just covering the "real" error - after the exception was thrown, the application looks for a message text provided by the Compact Framework, but the Framework does not install these messages by default, they are placed in the separate System_SR_ENU.cab to conserve disk space. Thus, the "missing resource file" message is not pointing at the real problem, it just says that the application is currently unable to display a more helpful message. My wild guess is that the core problem was a server outage of last.fm (this happens regularly for short periods of time, just have a look at the official forums) or a network connection error on your device.

    Does everything work for you again, after you deleted the "cache.xml"?
