"I'm sorry I have to be the one to say this, but RedSK is the single most insipid musician I have ever heard. He is capable of making ANY experiment wear out its welcome. No matter how far you lower your expectations, it's never enough, 'cause Patrick Doyle will always find a way to disappoint you, or worse, piss you off after the realization that the quasi-passable Aregre Distbea is just a bunch of Evol tracks and a ham-fisted distortion pedal, or that the aural punch in the face of Inhale Fumes Of Burning Plastic was reassembled from not curious experimentation, but the playing of two instruments at once while simultaneously chewing on a contact mic. His incompetence is outmatched only by sheer pretense, generating excuse after excuse as to why his music doesn't suck, carving out entire genres as if telling us that this gutwrenchingly miserable excuse of a noise track is, in fact, a stellar representation of the innovative new style "Rape A Hooker In Your Semi Music" will somehow convince us all that he's the illegitimate love child of Masami Akita and Aaron Funk. Let's consider the following: RedSK once contributed a set of releases to a now out-of-print 4-person split in which he tried to push the brand-new genre of "Desktopcore," no doubt after hearing Venetian Snares and a large portion of the Tigerbeat6 cast do just the same thing. One of these tracks was entitled "This Is By Far The Best Thing I Have Ever Written." In this case, I would have to agree with him, as, unlike many of his other works, it has a length which behooves its substance--less than one second long. Not only does RedSK completely and totally suck, but he refuses to admit it--and he refuses to change it. True, he is a very prolific artist, but I do not believe that should count when placed side-by-side with his complete and total lack of quality control. Simply put, do not listen to this musician. He is a stoned-out, half-assed so-called "experimentalist" who relies solely on his snottiness as an excuse for his lack of talent, and over ten years of musical experience hasn't changed a thing about that." - Fishbasket on discogs
