This group is about anything and everything that has to do with Japanese composers and their works.

You should join if:

your favourite composer is Japanese
you have multiple favourite Japanese composers, for that matter
you love listening to Japanese soundtracks and/or other instrumental music – and can probably spend all day listening to them
you love Japanese music in general (whether contemporary/modern or even traditional sounds)

I don't have many of them in my library but I listen to a lot more music in-game so I'll join anyway. Hidenori Shoji and Koji Kondo are good ones for me.

I think it is not really easy to recommend to listen to certain composers and it is often a subjective recommendation. Yasunori Mitsuda, Kaoru Wada, Masashi Hamauzu from me ;).

Welcome, mrhagane! I’d recommend Naoki Sato, Joe Hisaishi, and Toshihiko Sahashi. You should also check out Hiroyuki Sawano’s Sengoku Basara soundtracks – they are really, really good.
